Getting Started
Do I need prior gym experience?
Not at all. We work with complete beginners and experienced athletes alike. Your programme is built around your current level, and the assessment on day one gives us everything we need to know.
What happens at the free consultation?
A relaxed 30-minute conversation, no sales pitch, no hard close. We learn about your goals, history, lifestyle, and what you've tried before. You learn about our approach. If we're the right fit, we proceed. If not, we'll say so honestly.
How quickly will I see results?
Most clients notice visible changes within 4–6 weeks. Significant transformation typically occurs over 12–16 weeks. Our data shows an average fat loss of 6 kg over 12 weeks, but results vary based on your starting point, consistency, and goals.
Am I too old to start?
Absolutely not. We work with clients from their 20s through their 60s. In many cases, clients in their 40s and 50s see the most meaningful transformations, because they have the focus, discipline, and motivation to follow a structured approach.
Training & Programming
How often will I need to train?
Personal training clients typically train 3–4 times per week. Online coaching clients usually train 4–5 times. We work around your actual schedule, including travel, work commitments, and family life.
What does a typical session look like?
Sessions are 50–60 minutes. Every session is tracked, exercises, sets, reps, tempo, weight, and rest periods, so we can measure progress precisely week over week. We don't just count sets; we analyse trends.
What if I miss a session?
Life happens. A missed session doesn't derail a well-designed programme, but a pattern of missed sessions does. We'll work with you to find a schedule that's genuinely sustainable, and check in if we notice consistency issues.
Do you offer duo or small group training?
Yes. Duo training is available for two people training together, couples, friends, or colleagues. Each person receives their own assessment and nutrition plan, but trains in shared sessions. It's an excellent option that combines cost-effectiveness with accountability.
Nutrition & Supplementation
Is nutrition coaching included?
Yes, for all services. You'll receive a personalised meal plan and supplement protocol updated every few weeks based on your progress data. This isn't a one-size-fits-all PDF, it's built around your lifestyle, food preferences, and metabolic response.
Do I have to follow a strict diet?
No. The best nutrition plan is the one you can follow consistently. We build flexibility in from the start, including guidance for social events, restaurant meals, and travel. You won't be told to eat chicken and broccoli every day.
What supplements do you recommend?
We work with Upfront, a Dutch company that lab-tests all products before shipping. Recommendations are based on your individual data and goals, not generic supplement stacks. Most clients need far fewer supplements than they think.
Online Coaching
How does online coaching work?
You receive a fully bespoke training programme and nutrition plan via the True Results app. Weekly check-ins (video or written) track your progress. You have direct WhatsApp access to Miquel every day. The system is identical to in-person training, just without the studio.
Is online coaching as effective as in-person?
Yes, when the coaching quality is comparable. The results across our online and in-person clients are statistically very similar, because the system is the same: bespoke programming, nutrition, weekly measurement, and real accountability.
What do I need to train online?
Access to a gym or a set of dumbbells at minimum. We'll assess what equipment you have and build a programme that maximises what's available. Many clients train effectively with surprisingly minimal equipment.
Pricing & Logistics
What does personal training cost?
Personal training pricing is discussed during your free consultation, as it depends on session frequency and programme duration. Online coaching starts from €300/month. Both represent a significant ROI compared to the cost of poor health, lost energy, and wasted gym memberships.
Where is the studio located?
Visseringstraat 33H, 1051 KH Amsterdam. It's a private studio, not a commercial gym. No queues, no shared equipment, no distractions.
