Why I coach the way I do.
The principles behind every decision, who this is built for, and what actually makes the difference between a programme that works and one that doesn't.

My approach
I started coaching because I was frustrated by how much of the fitness industry is built on guesswork dressed up as science. Generic programmes handed to every client. Coaches who disappear between sessions. Plans that work for the ideal version of your life, not the real one.
After ten years and hundreds of clients, the thing I know most clearly is this: the plan that fits your life is the plan that works. Not the most aggressive plan. Not the most complicated one. The one that accounts for your schedule, your stress, your social life, and your starting point — and adjusts every single week based on what your body is actually doing.
Every client at True Results gets a programme built from their data, reviewed weekly, and updated continuously. That is not a premium feature. That is the minimum standard for coaching that actually works.

Who this is for
The situations we work with most.
Real situations, honest responses. If any of these sounds like you, this is probably the right place.
"I'm postpartum and have no idea what my body can handle right now."
The first thing we do is understand where you actually are — not where you were before, and not where you want to be. Postpartum training starts with an honest baseline: how your core is functioning, what movement feels safe, what your energy and sleep allow. We build from there, conservatively and progressively. Most postpartum clients are surprised by how much is possible within the first twelve weeks when the programme is designed for their body, not a generic 'post-baby' plan.
"I'm in perimenopause and training the same way I always did has stopped working."
That is not a motivation problem. The hormonal shift that begins in perimenopause genuinely changes how your body responds to training and nutrition — particularly around muscle retention, fat distribution, and recovery. The fix is not to work harder. It is to train differently: more emphasis on strength, adjusted protein targets, different recovery windows. We work with your physiology, not against it. Many clients in their forties and fifties see their best-ever body composition results here.
"Gyms make me feel judged and anxious. I've avoided them for years."
You train at Iconic Studio, a private 312 m² facility with no public membership. There is no one else training there when you are. No queues, no mirrors with strangers, no unsolicited advice from the floor. It is a private space — just you, the coach, and the work. For clients who find commercial gyms overwhelming, this alone is the thing that finally makes consistent training possible.
"I've never had a training routine and don't know where to start."
The assessment is specifically designed to handle this. You do not need to know anything, have any experience, or be at any particular level before we begin. Your programme is built from your actual baseline — which includes zero experience if that is where you are. The first weeks are about learning movement patterns correctly and building confidence, not testing how much you can endure. Beginners who have a well-structured start are the clients who stay consistent long-term.
"I've worked with personal trainers before and didn't get the results I was promised."
The most common reason for this is a programme that was never actually built for you. Generic plans handed to every client, no weekly data review, and no adjustments when results slow down. At True Results, the programme is rebuilt every single week based on what your data shows. If something isn't working, we know within seven days — not three months. That is the structural difference, not the motivation speech.
"I'm genuinely too busy. I travel constantly and my schedule is unpredictable."
The programme is built around the schedule you actually have, not the one that would be ideal. If three sessions a week is realistic, that is what we plan for. If it is two, the programme is optimised for two. Travel weeks come with hotel-adapted alternatives that keep continuity without requiring a full facility. Online coaching is specifically designed for clients with irregular hours and changing locations — it is not a compromise on the standard, it is built for this.
"I've been training for years but feel like I've stopped making progress entirely."
Plateaus are almost always caused by one of three things: insufficient progressive overload, a nutrition plan that no longer matches your current body, or training your body has fully adapted to. A fresh assessment identifies which one — sometimes all three at once. The weekly data check-in then catches when adjustments are needed before the plateau has a chance to set in again. Clients who have been training for years often make some of their fastest progress in the first twelve weeks here, precisely because the programme is genuinely new stimulus.
What coaching includes
Everything. Without exception.
Every client receives the full system. There are no add-ons, no basic vs premium tiers within a service. This is the standard.
Full intake assessment
Before a single line of your programme is written: goals, training history, movement quality, body composition baseline, lifestyle, schedule, and what has held you back before.
Bespoke training programme
Built from your assessment data. Not a template, not a modified version of someone else's plan. Your programme, for your body and your schedule, updated every week.
Personalised nutrition plan
Calorie and protein targets calculated from your actual metabolic data. A practical approach built around your real eating habits, not an idealised meal plan you cannot sustain.
Evidence-based supplement guidance
Supplementation recommendations through our Upfront partnership, based only on what the research supports. No unnecessary stack, no upselling.
Weekly body composition check-ins
Weight trend, measurements, and photos reviewed every single week. This is the data that drives every decision. Progress is measured, not guessed.
Daily WhatsApp support
Direct access, same-day replies. A question mid-session, a nutrition decision at a restaurant, something that felt wrong this week — you are never navigating it alone until the next appointment.
App-based programme delivery
Your full training and nutrition plan lives in the True Results app: exercise demos, target weights, macro targets, coaching notes, and your complete check-in history.
Programme phases and strategy reviews
Every few weeks the programme advances. Longer packages include formal strategy reviews where goals, methods, and priorities are reassessed from the ground up.

Honest answers
The questions people are actually thinking.
The things most coaches don't address directly. Here they are.
I'm really unfit. Will this work for someone at my level?
Yes. The assessment is specifically designed to map exactly where you are before anything is written. 'Really unfit' is a starting point — and often clients starting from a low baseline make some of the most dramatic early progress, because there is so much room to move. What matters is that the programme matches your current capacity. That is the whole point of the assessment.
I'm in my fifties. Is it too late to make a real change?
No. The research on strength training in older adults is genuinely encouraging — muscle is built at every age, and the hormonal and metabolic benefits of progressive strength training are arguably more important in your fifties than in your twenties. Clients in their fifties and sixties achieve real, visible transformations here. The programme is adjusted for recovery, hormonal context, and realistic timelines. What changes is the approach, not the possibility.
I've had personal trainers before and the results were disappointing.
The most common reason is a programme that was never actually adapted to you. A template handed to every client, no weekly review, and no adjustments when progress slows. The structural difference here is that your programme is reviewed against real data every single week and updated when something isn't working. That is not a marketing claim — it is the actual mechanism. You will see it from week one.
I don't want to be put on a strict meal plan I have to follow exactly.
You won't be. Nutrition coaching here means setting your calorie and protein targets, understanding your baseline eating habits, and building a flexible framework that fits your actual life — including restaurants, social occasions, and travel. The goal is teaching you to eat well instinctively, not creating a rigid dependency on a document. Most clients find they stop 'dieting' and start eating in a way that is simply better, without obsessing.
What if I have an injury or a health condition I haven't mentioned yet?
The assessment covers this in full. Injuries, chronic conditions, mobility limitations, and anything relevant to how your body moves are all mapped at the start. The programme is built around what is safe and appropriate for you specifically. Where relevant, we work in coordination with physios and GPs. Nothing is assumed, everything is addressed.
How do I actually know I'm progressing?
You will have weekly data: your weight trend over the full programme, body measurements, check-in photos, and performance numbers from your sessions. Progress is never a feeling — it is a number on a chart. You will know exactly what has changed and when. For clients who have spent years unsure whether their training was doing anything, this visibility is often the most motivating part of the whole experience.
Can I still have a social life, drink occasionally, eat out regularly?
Yes. This is not a transformation that requires cutting out everything you enjoy. Nutrition coaching builds around restaurants, evenings out, and a realistic alcohol approach. The goal is a way of living that is sustainable past the end of the programme — which means it has to include real life. Clients who maintain results long-term are the ones who learned to live well, not the ones who followed a strict plan until they couldn't anymore.
